With the end of lockdown in sight, it’s time to start planning our lives once again as things start reopening. The good news is that the pandemic hasn’t stopped new spots from opening (for takeaway at the moment, of course), so there’s going to be plenty of new and exciting places to explore alongside your favourite venues. One such place is Ramona.

Located on the edge of Ancoats and the Northern Quarter in a former MOT station, Ramona has been serving up takeaway Detroit-style pizzas since opening recently.
And now they’re branching out, with the venue set to open a new beer garden complete with campfires and even a margarita bar. Ramona, in partnership with Manchester regeneration specialists Capital & Centric, has announced plans to deliver even more as restrictions begin to be eased next month.

The next phase of opening will see a brand new outdoor drinking space in the form of their 250-capacity campfire beer garden and margarita bar.
The beer garden allows guests to eat and drink outside, kept cosy and warm by campfires and firepits – and if it rains, there’s even a tipi.
Ramona’s hugely popular Detroit pizza will be served alongside the best ‘Made in Manchester’ beers from midday until 12pm.
The brand new Ramona speciality ‘Margarita Bar’ will open in the festoon lit forecourt, inspired by one of the team’s mezcal, tequila and margarita research trip to South America.
Adelaide Winter, Ramona’s founder, said: “Ramona has been a year in the making, in what has been such a tough year for everyone, especially our industry. “We can’t wait to show more of what Ramona is all about. But most of all be able to welcome guests properly into the beer garden for a great time” The brand new beer garden will be open from April 14th, with bookings available from tomorrow morning, Friday March 26th, at 9am.
