Aldi has announced the release of a new cheese and bean stuffed Chicken Kiev on Facebook and people are confused.

The new product is available in stores now in the fridge section and will set you back just £1.34 for a 260g pack of the 100% British chicken.

Most people can agree on Chicken Kievs being delicious, but it seems stuffing it with cheese and beans has somewhat divided the internet.

On the Facebook post Aldi shared people seem confused, and one person wrote ‘I feel like these would be life changing’.

Others aren’t so convinced, with one adding ‘that is wrong on so many levels’ and another saying: “just wrong wrong wrong. Only garlic should be in kievs!”

Another explained that it wasn’t the cheese and beans combo that was the issue, it was the chicken writing: “I’d do cheese/beans cheesy beans but not with chicken”.

One person pointed out that ‘a little bit of breadcrumb wont hurt the no carb diet will it? beans don’t count, right?’ and we couldn’t agree more.

It also looks like Aldi might be considering a gluten free version with one fan writing ‘yes but could you make them gluten free’.

An Aldi spokesperson responded: “I’ll certainly pass your suggestion on to the relevant team for internal consideration”.

What do you think, will you be picking these up on your next shop?
