Lindt’s hazelnut and dark chocolate spreads are hitting shelves in the UK and are available at Asda.
For fans of Nutella, it’s time to up your game with the Swiss chocolate connoisseurs own version of the nutty chocolate spread, that is absolutely delicious.
The creamy hazelnut and dark chocolate flavours are now available at ASDA.
The hazelnut chocolate spread is made with 25% roasted hazelnuts, which, according to Lindt Master Chocolatier Thomas Schnetzler, ‘is more generous than many other spreads’.
It turns out Schnetzler isn’t lying – Nutella is only 13% hazelnut.
Thomas adds that the extra dollop of hazelnut is what adds an ‘incredible flavour’, that when mixed with cocoa creates the ‘perfect blend’.
The dark chocolate spread is also perfect if you’re a fan of Lindt’s signature dark chocolate bars. It’s described as ‘luxurious creation of the finest cocoa’.
The tubs come in 200g pots and will set you back just £4.50. They are currently available online at Asda and in select stores.
It’s safe to say Twitter is buzzing, one added: “Just ate an entire jar of @Lindt chocolate spread it’s soooo good… and no I don’t feel guilty.”
Another wrote: “Sorry #Nutella but this does taste better. Oh-o looks like there might be some chocolate spread wars!”
The spread has been available in Europe for some time now but Brits have struggled to get their hands on jars of the chocolatey good stuff.
Well that struggle is no more – just nip down to ASDA to get your paws on a jar!
