Gordon’s launches new Morello Cherry and Tropical Passionfruit gins in time for summer

It’s officially gin season, and what better way to celebrate than with the launch of a two tasty new gin flavours?

Evidently on a mission to make the very most out of summer 2022, Gordon’s has unveiled not one, but two new fruity gin flavours ideal for those ice cold G&Ts in the garden.

Billed as ‘a tropical twist on the original recipe’, the Tropical Passionfruit gin is available to buy exclusively in Morrisons and Asda stores, with a wider retail rollout to follow from early April.

Gordon’s says the flavour is ‘perfectly placed’ to follow in the footsteps of its Premium Pink Gin, which was the biggest spirits launch in the last five years, as per The Grocer.

Morello Cherry, meanwhile, was launched just yesterday (March 23rd), and is available to buy exclusively in all Sainsbury’s supermarkets.

Gordon’s GB head of marketing Jessica Lace said on the new flavours: “We know that gin variants such as Morello Cherry and Tropical Passionfruit tap into the growing consumer demand for flavours, which is growing at a rapid rate.”

As a result, the innovations were ‘well placed to engage consumers as we approach the spring and summer seasons’, she added.

People have understandably been very excited over the prospect of these summery new flavours, with one social media user commenting: “OMG this sounds lovely, I’m gonna have to try this one!”

Another person noted: “Sounds delish. Gonna have to add this to my collection.”

If you fancy one of these tipples yourself, you’ll be able to find the Gordon’s Tropical Passionfruit at Asda and Morrisons and the Gordon’s Morello Cherry in Sainsbury’s.
