McDonald’s is ready to launch its new ‘spiciest burger ever’ on its menu in just a matter of days.

Sometimes that craving strikes and you know you’ve just gotta go get yourself a Maccie D’s. 

Whether you’re driving past on your way home from work, you’ve just popped out for some bits at the local retail park or you’ve got a raging hangover – there’s some occasions in life where only a Maccies will do.

And why not? With so much choice on offer, there’s something for everyone. And now, extreme heat lovers get ready because Maccies is about to drop an extra hot new addition to its menu that’s perfect for you.

The fast food giant calls the new item its ‘spiciest burger ever’ and those who like an extra kick in their food, this one’s for you.

The McSpicy is back with a crispy chicken breast fillet, jalapenos, Frank’s Red Hot Mayo, lettuce, Emmental cheese and onions, all layered between a toasted sesame seed bun. 

Thomas O’Neil, Head of Menu at McDonald’s UK and Ireland, said: “We know how much our customers love spice, and were blown away by the reaction to the McSpicy since it first launched as a limited-edition back in July 2021, growing to a permanent resident on our main menu.

“This collaboration with Frank’s RedHot gave us such an exciting opportunity to build on an already iconic product and create something genuinely spicy but also delicious that we know both McDonald’s and Frank’s RedHot customers will love. 

“We’re really looking forward to seeing the reaction.”

The fiery hot burger will be available at McDonald’s restaurants across all UK and Irish restaurants, Drive-Thrus, the My McDonald’s App, as well as on McDelivery from February 7th.

It’s a limited edition item so you’ll need to be quick as it is only around for six weeks, while stocks last.

The burger comes as a single item or as part of a meal, with the burger alone costing £5.59 or £7.29 to make it a meal.

The McSpicy x Frank’s RedHot is part of McDonald’s new Valentine’s Menu where fast food lovers will be able to get their hands on a new limited-edition Ruby KitKat McFlurry, as well as a raspberry and white chocolate pie.

• Big Tasty with Bacon – £8.49
• Mozzarella Dippers with a salsa dip – £2.39
• Mozzarella Dippers share box with salsa dip – £6.49
