New Manchester delivery service is getting groceries across the city in under 15 minutes

What’s the betting that, despite your fridge and cupboards looking depressingingly bare, you simply cannot be bothered to drag yourself to the shops?

I won’t judge you – what with the departure of our very brief heat wave, you’d be forgiven for not wanting to venture out the shops so much.

But fear not! To diffuse the judgements even further, Manchester-born delivery service Weezy is here to bring your food and drinks haul to your own doorstep.

Since launching their speedy service in July 2020 in Southern locations like London, Bristol and Brighton, Weezy has been ferrying food and drink across various cities in just fifteen minutes or less. 

And, following the success of their initial launch, they decided – very wisely – to bring their service to the capital of the North in April this year.

Talking about their Manchester launch, Weezy’s co-founder and CEO Kristof Van Beveren said: “Manchester was the natural next choice for us.

They have a carefully curated range of over 2,000 quality products at retail prices, including alcoholic drinks, dairy, snacks, party games like Twister, and pharmacy products for emergency needs.

Weezy also deals with a whole array of independent bakers, butchers, makers and markets all across Manchester.

The brands you can look out for are Marble Beers, ManCoCo coffees, Brew Tea Co, Salford Spiced Rum, Manchester Gin, Rockstar Spirits, Steep Soda, Booch & Brew, Love Raw and Cheshire Farm Ice Cream.
