A brand new Portuguese and Brazilian street food spot has opened in Manchester, and they are serving sangria ON TAP.

KBOM is located at the award-winning food, drink and retail destination Hatch, and if you’ve not been down to the Oxford Road site yet, you seriously need to check it out – what are you waiting for?

By all accounts the food is top notch, and the venue is adorned in bold colours and stunning brickwork, with a beautiful Portuguese street scene painted on the wall.

In terms of starters, you can grab Brasilian Coxinhas – deep-fried chicken croquettes served with a tangy dip – or Pao de Quejio, the national snack of Brazil – basically cheesy dough balls filled with melting cheese – for just £4.

Mains include Picanha à Brasileira, a Brazillian-style tender grilled steak served with black beans, rice and Farofa seasoning for £11.

Also for £11 you can grab a Bitoque, a Portuguese take on a classic steak and eggs, which comes with grilled, lean ribeye and a runny yolked fried egg, served alongside fried rice, chips and salad.

There’s also a number of chicken dishes, like the Chickana, a garlic chicken fillet served on a bread roll for £5.50, and the Frango Grelhado, classic Portuguese grilled chicken marinated in either lemon and herb or peri peri, which starts from £3.50.

When it comes to drinks there’s the aforementioned SANGRIA ON TAP, which is very strong, as well as a great selection of draft beer, including Sagres and Super Bock.

So what are you waiting for? Get yourself down to Hatch asap and grab some steak and sangria, you won’t regret it.
