Biscoff espresso martinis are now a thing, and we need one immediately.

Now, Biscoff has boomed in popularity in recent years – what was once the random little biscuit you’d get free with your coffee is now a cultural phenomenon.

These days, Biscoff is just as famous for its delicious smooth and crunchy spreads as it is for its original biscuits. You can also buy Biscoff sauce, Biscoff ice cream and Biscoff and Go pots. It’s a great time to be alive.

The brand has also partnered with food giants such as KitKat and Krispy Kreme to offer an even wider range of delicious Biscoff products.

And now, just when you didn’t think the world couldn’t get any more Biscoff-obsessed, the Biscoff take on an espresso martini has been born.

A number of different establishments have been jumping on the trend; Insomnia, a Scottish pop-up bar and home delivery service dedicated entirely to the humble espresso martini recently unveiled its Biscoff flavoured version of the popular cocktail, as did the Baltic Market in Liverpool.

The recipe is super simple too, with countless people making their own from home.

All you’ll need is: Coffee Liqueur, 30ml espresso or coffee, one shot of vodka, 30g of melted Biscoff spread, Biscoff biscuits and ice. Very much alike to the classic espresso martini, as you can see, but with lashings of Biscoff spread instead.

As for the method, all you’ll need to do is shake together the cooled coffee with the vodka, Biscoff spread and ice, pour into a martini glass (or the poshest glass in your cupboard), and sprinkle with Biscoff biscuits and coffee beans.

Right, that’s me never drinking a normal cocktail ever again…
