Rudy’s Neapolitan Pizza, the pizzeria that’s been tirelessly dishing out the authentically divine flavours of Italy for six years, has been named as the fifth best pizzeria in the whole of Europe.
Though are we really surprised?
Rudy’s first opened its doors in Ancoats in 2015, and has since expanded not only across Manchester, but across the country in cities such as Liverpool and Birmingham – a Soho site in London is currently in the works.

The success of the pizzeria is undeniable, and it is today famed for its authentic neapolitan style approach to pizza – we’re talking a ‘hand stretched dough and a sixty seconds cook time in clay pizza ovens’ kind of authentic.
Yet, while many of us regard Rudy’s to be the best pizza in the whole of Manchester, travel company Big 7 consider it to be one of the best in the whole of Europe.
Yep, in their recent (and very important) survey of fifty pizzerias across the continent, they ranked Rudy’s as the fifth best pizzeria.
The fifth.

Writing about the restaurant on their website, they stated: “They stick pretty close to tradition at Rudy’s Pizza, crafting their pies pretty much in exactly the same manner that they do in Naples.
“Creating the dough here is a true labour of love, as they let it double ferment for 24 hours before throwing it in the oven for just 60 seconds to cook. There’s a reason why so many locals think this is the best pizza in Manchester.”
Naples’ world famous L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele, which has a venue opening down King Street later this year, was crowned as the best pizzeria in Europe.
