Just three months after the opening of its debut Manchester restaurant, The Real Greek now has its sights set upon the Trafford Centre.
The restaurant, which specialises in authentic Greek street food, has proven to be a huge hit in its existing Corn Exchange venue, which marked the company’s first move up North.
So, following this success, The Real Greek bosses have decided to expand to the Trafford Centre, where they will be opening a brand new venue to offer their extensive menu of Greek dishes, cocktails and wine to hungry shoppers.
The 182-cover restaurant will be located on the upper tier of the Trafford Centre’s Great Hall, and will boast a menu designed to create a ‘contemporary Aegean experience’, which involves an abundance of dishes scattered across the table for sharing.

On the menu itself, guests can expect to find a selection of traditional and contemporary Greek mezze dishes, flame-grilled meats, seafood and salads, with vegan and vegetarian options also available.
And, of course, there will also be The Real Greek’s famous lunchtime souvlaki wraps, which give diners the choice of Loukaniko sausage pork belly, lamb meatballs, halloumi, falafel and jackfruit, all of which will be served in a wrap with chips, salad and a homemade tzatziki.
Nabil Mankarious, Managing Director at The Real Greek, said on the new venture: “The new opening in Manchester’s Trafford Centre is such a positive move for The Real Greek.
“A big ambition was to open in the North, and with our Corn Exchange restaurant in Manchester already flourishing, we are really excited to bring our second restaurant to the vibrant and busy city.”

Zoe Inman, Centre Director at the Trafford Centre, added: “We’re delighted to welcome The Real Greek to the Trafford Centre this month.
“With over 280 brands on offer at the Centre, The Real Greek is an excellent addition to our ever-growing dining hub, offering delicious Eastern Mediterranean food options for our customers – we can’t wait to open to the public!”
The Real Greek will be opening in the Trafford Centre on March 1st and, to celebrate, will be offering 50% off its food menu until March 3rd.
