Toby Carvery, Harvester and Miller and Carter pubs will be opening their doors on Saturday, July 4th.

They have all also opened up their booking systems already, so you can get a table secured for your favourite roast.

But you’re gonna want to be quick because it looks like they’re getting booked up really fast.

Karla tweeted: “Can’t believe how fast Miller and Carter has booked up”.

And Charlotte added: “We’ve booked Miller & Carter! We tried to go for next weekend but it was fully booked completely so we’ve had to go for the weekend after AND the one in Poulton”

Pub chains are allowed to open in England due to Boris Johnson’s latest updates on lockdown restriction easing, which allowed restaurants, pubs and cafes to reopen from July 4th.

The rules are currently different across Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland.

The chains that are gearing up to open may have slightly reduced menus when they do, due to some suppliers struggling to also reopen.

Regarding health and safety, a spokesperson for Mitchells and Butlers, which owns the three brands, said: “We’re taking great care to make sure that the safety and wellbeing of our guests and colleagues remain at the very forefront of all of our re-opening preparations from the July 4.

“Given the different sizes and shapes of our businesses the one metre plus guidelines will allow us to more effectively plan how we will operate our popular bars, pubs and restaurants.”

Many businesses that have been closed until now will be able to reopen on July 4th as Boris Johnson announced a relaxing in the two metre distancing rule.

All pubs and restaurants will be able to reopen from July 4th, with restrictions and safety measure in place.

You can only visit a pub with one other household so be quick to get your favourite table!
