Toby Carvery is combating food waste with its ‘magic bags’ of unwanted food, all of which can be bought for less than £4.
The Toby Carvery Magic Bags are filled at the end of the day with a variety of leftovers, including unsold food from the famed carvery menu such as meat, Yorkshire puddings, potatoes and vegetables.
The bags are available to purchase at 153 restaurants across the country from the Too Good To Go App for £2.29 for the vegetarian option and £3.29 to include meat.
One TikTok user recently revealed that her £3.29 magic bag was enough to feed her whole family, while another said their bag was heavier than their weekly shopping.
Toby Carvery extended its partnership with Too Good To Go last November and, to date, has saved over 250 tonnes of C02e and saved over 100,000 Magic Bags, both of which helps to fight food waste and reduce environmental impact on the planet, as per WalesLive.
This means the restaurant is fast on track to reach its milestone of saving 100,000 meals in February alone.

There are a limited number of Magic Bags available at the end of each day, so you’ll need to be quick to get your hands on one.
