Woman shares recipe for ‘best Slush Puppie cocktail you’ll ever taste’

If you’re looking for a new cocktail this weekend then look no further, as this has been deemed ‘the best Slush Puppie cocktail you will ever taste’. 

A woman has taken to Facebook to share her recipe of Slush Puppie cocktails in the Group ‘Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK’ and they look absolutely mouth-watering. 

It turns out the recipe is super easy too, using just Smirnoff Ice, WKD, Pink Hooch, Ice and a blender.

The trick to getting the perfect Tequila Sunrise style gradient in the drink is mixing them all separately.

All you need to do is mix each of the three drinks with ice in the blender, then carefully layer them on top of one another, WKD first, followed by Smirnoff ICE and then Pink Hooch. 

Obviously, everyone in the comments has gone wild. It’s racked up nearly 6,000 comments and 5,000 likes with most people getting stocked up to make these at the weekend. 

It’s not the first time everyone has got creative with their booze in lockdown, with one Facebook user creating a Vimto Slushy cocktail from Smirnoff Ice, Cherryade and Dark Fruit WKD. 

I’d take a leaf out of the Vimto Slushy book though, and whack loads of fizzy sweets on the top of your Slush Puppie cocktail for the ultimate treat. 

They definitely would have been perfect when the sun was out last week!
