American Pies has knocked it out of the park this week with the unveiling of their pizza and garlic bread burritos.
Now, American Pies has been the hot talk of the town since their arrival on the Manchester food scene earlier this year – opened by the brains behind North-American eatery Brewski, American Pies has become well known for its Chicago-style deep pan pizzas.
Its take on pizza offers something a little different to the already well-populated Neapolitan-style pizza scene here in Manchester, and their exciting toppings of fennel, sausage, basil, pepperoni and parmesan give guests a real treat.

And now, there’s something else that guests can look forward to – pizza burritos.
Yep, American Pies have had the initiative to combine classic Chicago town pizzas and garlic breads with the king of all Mexican food, a burrito.
The revolutionary ‘Doughrito’ is made up from a pizza base, before being packed up with a variety of delicious fillings such as fried chicken and then wrapped up into a burrito shaped roll, before being topped with cheese and lashings of pizza sauce.

It sounds and looks bloody lovely, doesn’t it?
On Instagram, they wrote: “Did somebody say Garlic bread burritos? Landing on the menu in September, our doughrito range. Choose from garlic bread or pizza burrito stuffed with all manner of combinations and served with a dipping sauce of your choice.”
The finer details surrounding the doughrito range have been kept tightly under wraps (no pun intended), though it has been confirmed that they will be available from September 13th.
