In some good news in the fight against coronavirus, more than 100 people have been discharged from hospital after beating it. 103 patients recently left Tameside Hospital after overcoming Covid-19, and will now continue their recovery at home. A post on social media thanked the ‘dedication and care’ of the hospital staff.
It was shared on the ‘Tameside Hospital, part of Tameside & Glossop IC FT’ Facebook page. The post reads: “We have discharged 103 patients who tested positive for COVID-19. Thanks to the dedication and care of all our teams across the hospital, community, and our colleagues in primary and social care.”
And it received loads of positive comments thanking NHS staff at the hospital, including a few from some of the people discharged after overcoming coronavirus. One wrote: “And I’m one of them! Thanks from the bottom of my heart, Chris”. Another added: “Thanks for looking after my hubby Shaun Higgins. He was tested positive for Covid-19, after a short stay in Tameside Hospital he then came home, although still recovering it looks like things are looking up, thanks again NHS”.
