A radio station just playing Christmas songs for the next four months has launched

As we all know, 2020 has been a shitshow of a year and we can’t wait to see the back of it and fast forward to Christmas.

If this is you, and you are generally a big Christmas fan, then we’ve got just the radio station for you – if you’re a bit of a Grinch, you might want to avoid this one.

Despite it still being summer (technically at least), Magic Radio has launched a new station which is set to play nothing but Christmas hits all day, every day, until the Big Day.

The station in question, Magic 100% Christmas, is now officially live, so get yourself tuned in and sing-along to the likes of Wham!, Mariah Carey, and The Pogues.

Magic has said it plans to lift the spirits of the nation with its early festive station, with a recent survey revealing that people plan to start Christmas preparations early this year so they have something to look forward to.

Magic Radio Breakfast presenter Ronan Keating said: “2020 has been a hard year for us all – what better way to lift our spirits than bringing Christmas forward a few months?

“One of the most fulfilling parts of working at Magic Radio is to be able to connect with our listeners and bring a smile to their faces, so I can’t wait to launch Magic 100% Christmas and turn up the Christmas cheer!”

According to the survey, 32% of people start to feel Christmassy when the festive songs start, while an absolutely whopping 91% said they switch on the radio in the run up to Christmas to get them in the mood for the festivities.
