EasyJet have released fresh advice to their passengers hoping to fly this summer, announcing they are intending on holidays going ahead.
Many holidaymakers have been wondering what is happening to their pre-existing flights and holidays in regards to cancellations and refunds.
The Mirror has reported that easyJet intends for holidays in June, July and August to go ahead.
The airline has announced that cancellations are being evaluated daily and if your flight is to be cancelled you will know at least seven days in advance.
If you’ve already paid for a holiday and want to consider changing your date you can do at no extra fee and receive a 10% discount if your new booking is more expensive. This offer is available until May 12th.
If you chose to cancel your flight all together you will receive a credit note for a future holiday rather than a refund.
If easyJet cancels your flight, you can receive a full refund with easyJet saying: “If, when we get to review your departure date your holiday becomes impacted, we’ll be in touch again.
“You can rest assured that if easyJet holidays cancels your holiday you’ll receive a full refund back to the original payment method.”
Many Ryanair customers are expecting to wait months for their refunds as the company reports millions of refund claims.
The FCO has advised against foreign travel for the foreseeable future, giving no indication as to when this ban will be lifted.
