As the coronavirus pandemic continues to grip the nation, the few shops that remain open have put into place strict social distancing measures to help stop the virus spread. This includes limiting the number of people who can enter a store at one time, and putting markings on the floor to help people stay two metres apart. While several supermarkets have limited shoppers to one per household, B&Q has asked that no one under 16 comes into its stores, and now it looks like Home Bargains has introduced a new rule.

The bargain store looks to have put in place strict new rules limiting the number of people in its shops at any one time. New signs have been spotted outside stores advising customers to shop alone, with only one member of a household allowed in where possible, the Liverpool Echo reports.

Home Bargains is currently operating a strict customer limit and once this is met shoppers have to queue up outside and wait for someone to leave. This is to help people stick to the two metre social distancing guidelines, in a bid to help slow the spread of the virus and take the strain off our NHS.
