New in-store bakeries will sell freshly baked goods at 64 Home Bargain sites across the country, including three based in Greater Manchester.
The budget retailer has already begun the rollout at some of its stores nationwide with the first few including locations at Darlington, Basingstoke and Merthyr, and will add another 20 bakeries to the list over the next 12 months.
Shoppers across Greater Manchester can pick up their freshly baked goods in their Home bargains shop, with bakeries set to open in Oldham, Walkden and Bolton in the coming months.
The Home Bargains in Walkden is located at the retail park and the Bolton site is located at Middlebrook Retail and Leisure, in Horwich.

It has not yet been confirmed which of the three Oldham based sites will feature the new in-store bakery, however, a job advert for the Market Place store has asked for staff members to run a bakery and cafe.
A spokesperson for Home Bargains said: “In recent years the market for fresh baked goods in the UK has grown significantly and the bakeries we have introduced at stores nationwide have allowed customers to enjoy our competitively priced fresh bakery range.
“We are looking forward to introducing more bakeries in stores as we roll out our fresh bakery range for customers across the UK to enjoy.”
Shoppers will be able to choose a variety of baked goods, from baguettes and tiger rolls, to pastries, muffins and doughnuts.
