McDonald’s breakfast menu is returning from June 24th

This is big news – McDonald’s breakfast is coming back on the menu from June 24th. 

McDonald’s fans, assemble (in an orderly queue)! 

Unfortunately, the breakfast menu will be slightly reduced and will initially be trialled in a small number of restaurants before being rolled out across the nation in July. 

When Maccies reopened many a fan was left heartbroken at the lack of McMuffins and those gloriously delicious hashbrowns on the menu.

But the golden arches gave us a glimmer of hope when they announced plans to bring it back to us!

Paul Pomroy, chief executive of McDonald’s UK and Ireland, said: “Throughout this reopening I’ve committed to our employees that we will only move forward to the next stage when I am confident we can do so while still enabling safe working.

“We’ll announce the restaurants involved in the breakfast trial nearer the time and thank you in advance to the teams participating in this test.”

Until then, there are 934 branches open for takeaway in the UK, meaning Nuggs and Chicken Legends will have to do for now. 

From tomorrow, McDelivery will be available at 500 restaurants across the UK but for today at least its just available on Just Eat and Uber Eats.
