Police officers allegedly arrested a man after he attempted to jump over the barrier at the Queen’s funeral.

The incident reportedly happened this afternoon as the Queen’s coffin procession began to make its way through London.

Thousands of mourners had lined the streets to say a final goodbye to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Some queued overnight so they could catch a glimpse of the Queen.

According to reports, one man decided to jump the fence onto Parliament Street by the Cenotaph, when police acted quickly to arrest him.

The incident happened as The Queen’s coffin emerged, before the full procession was underway.

King Charles led the Royal Family in a sombre procession standing behind Her Majesty, past Buckingham Palace and on to Windsor Castle.
