Great news for all you beauty addicts, Sephora has announced it is set to open a brand new store in the Trafford Centre next summer.

French multinational beauty giant Sephora is heading up north in 2024 and it has chosen Greater Manchester as its first northern IRL location, making it the third physical shop to open in the UK.

The LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton-owned retailer – the equivalent of Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory of the beauty world – will bring its exclusive offerings to a physical 5,380-square-foot ground floor store in the Trafford Centre.

Brands shoppers will be able to get their hands on – literally – include Makeup by Mario, GXVE by Gwen Stefani, Haus Labs by Lady Gaga, and many, many more.

Sharing the huge news on Instagram, Sephora UK wrote in a caption: “You heard correctly — Sephora is coming to the TRAFFORD CENTRE, MANCHESTER.

“Get your shopping baskets ready as we’re on our way up north!

More to be revealed soon, see you in 2024…”

And fans are already going wild in the comments, with one saying: “This is the best news I’ve heard all year!”

Another excited shopper typed: “NAH THE SCREAM I SCRUMPT ARGHHHHH.” A third used shouty caps to say: “OMG ITS HAPPENING, STAY CALM.”

And a fourth person added: “even more reasons to go Trafford centre.”

The beauty and personal care retailer was first launched in Paris in August 1970. It has since gone on to become an international beauty retail giant expanding its opening to the US and the UAE.

The retailer used to also be in the UK but famously left in 2005 due to ‘urban rents’ and fans were only able to shop online or at its locations in other countries.

However, after years of rumours and speculation, it came back in 2022 after officially acquiring beauty brand Feelunique.

Sephora now has locations in Westfield shopping centre at Shepherds Bush and one in Stratford, London. Manchester’s Trafford Centre will be its third location.

We can’t wait for summer ‘24!
