Sir David Attenborough is giving kids free geography lessons during lockdown

Bitesize Daily launched today as the biggest ever educational offering from the BBC for home-learning for the kids.

The programme includes 14 weeks of curriculum-based learning for kids across the UK from ages 5-15.

It will deliver a tailored day of learning on the BBC iPlayer, Red Button, BBC Bitesize website & app, BBC Four and BBC sounds.

There are loads of highlights across the program including Sir David Attenborough teaching youngsters about oceans, the map of the world and why animals look the way they do.

There will also be lessons from stars such as Liam Payne and Mable who will be partaking in the week-long Musical Big Read.

Danny Dyer who just so happens to be a direct descendant of King Edward III will be delivering facts on historical figures such as Henry VIII.

Meanwhile, for science, kids can expect lessons on the solar system from Professor brian Cox, and Doctor Who’s Jodie Whittaker will also be making an appearance in the classes.

There will be 6 20-minute lessons available from 9am everyday from over 200 teachers in front and behind the camera.
