A woman has now been charged following a dog attack which saw a 12-year-old boy suffer serious injuries.
The incident in Oldham saw the teenager suffer ‘life-changing injuries’. According to Greater Manchester Police, they received a call at 11.23am on Sunday October 22nd about a reported dog attack on Villa Road.
Emergency services responded to the call, and after attending the scene took the injured 12-year-old to hospital. A woman, 31, was also injured during the incident, but her injuries are not believed to be life-changing or threatening.
Paula Jenkins, 43, has now been charged in connection with the attack, accused of two counts of being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control causing injury.

Jenkins, of Meldrum Street, Oldham, has been bailed to appear at Tameside Magistrates’ Court on November 2nd, police say.
GMP said in a statement: “Woman charged in connection with dog attack. Paula Jenkins of Meldrum Street has been charged with two counts of being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control causing injury.
“She has been bailed to appear at Tameside Magistrates on Thursday 2 November. These charges are in connection with an incident which took place on Villa Road, Oldham.”
