As the colder months draw in, our radiators are turned back on, our winter duvets are dragged of hibernation and, sadly, our clothes stay damp for a hell of a lot longer.
It’s no secret that for those of us without the luxury of a drier, the winter months can be a nightmare when it comes to constantly damp clothes.
But low and behold, Aldi (because who else?) has come to the rescue with its revolutionary heated clothes airer that claims to dry clothes in ‘a matter of minutes’.

The Easy Home Heated Clothes Airer comes with three levels to hang clothes from – complete with velcro pegs – and takes five minutes to heat up before being ready to use.
The airer can withstand up to 30kg of weight and stands at 135cm tall, though if you’re tight on space it can be folded away after use.
Aldi’s description of the nifty device reads: “Improve your daily laundry routine with this Easy Home Heated Clothes Airer. It’s foldable design makes it super easy to fold away when not in use. A 2-way switch can be used to control a heated area which will dry your clothes in a matter of minutes.
“A shoe rack, delicate mesh shelves and peg hangers mean that you can dry all of your clothes with ease.”
While the airer is priced a little higher than the other items you’d expect to find in Aldi – £89.99 excluding postage – some might argue that it is a small price to pay to eradicate damp clothes from your life this winter. We’re not going to argue with that…
