Aldi has answered the prayers of Northerners far and wide with the launch of its revolutionary sausage roll maker.
The supermarket, which is known and beloved for its random middle aisle offerings and budget prices, is now flogging the sausage roll makers in its stores nationwide.
And, better yet, the nifty little device won’t be breaking the bank with a more-than-reasonable price of £14.99.
Just to put it into context; the cost of fourteen Greggs sausage rolls will get you an endless supply from the comfort of your own home. It’s a no-brainer, really.
The device has space to make four sausage rolls at a time and features slick non-stick cooking plates, so you won’t have to worry about any patchy pastries.
It also boasts a ‘cool touch’ handle and an automatic temperature control, meaning all the hard work is pretty much done for you.

Over on its website, Aldi’s description of the appliance reads: “This compact unit is great for making delicious fresh sausage rolls from the comfort of your home.
“The Ambiano Sausage Roll Maker features a non-stick coated cooking plates designed to make cleaning a breeze… Why not try something sweet? Not only is it designed to make sausage rolls, this versatile appliance is great for making fruit turnovers too.”
The sausage roll maker has proven to be a huge hit among customers, with many labelling it as a ‘game changer’.
One person noted social media that the device makes ‘nice neat sausage rolls that are not greasy like shop brought ones’, while another pointed out its versatility, writing, “Can do much more than just sausage rolls. Also have a pie maker, so this was the next step. Sometimes a little trial and error but persevere, it is great.”
Internet star LadBaby – or ‘the George Forman of the sausage roll maker world’ – also managed to bag himself one last weekend, where he shared his exciting experience in a YouTube video.
Aldi’s Sausage Roll Maker is currently sold out online, so you’ll have to fight for one in-store. You can find your nearest Aldi store here.
