In some good news today, Birds Eye has brought back a legendary Findus Crispy Pancake flavour in time for Shrove Tuesday. The minced beef and onion Findus Crispy Pancakes were incredibly popular, so much so that it caused outrage when they were axed. But now you can enjoy them again, as they hit freezers in Asda.
Findus
Findus Crispy Pancakes have been incredibly popular since their launch way back in 1958, and they used to come in cheese, ham and cheese, and beef flavours. They were sadly scrapped from shelves in 2016, but last year Birds Eye relaunched them with its own range – Findus and Birds Eye are both owned by the same company, Iglo Group. The relaunched pancakes came stuffed with ham and mozzarella, tomato and mozzarella, and mozzarella, but fans were devastated that the beef and onion flavour was left out.

Now beef and onion addicts have had their prayers answered, with four-packs of the crispy goodies available from Asda for just £1.95.
Anne-Marie Gayer, senior brand manager at Birds Eye, said: “Judging by the response to the relaunch last year, crispy pancakes are as popular now as they were during the 70s, 80s and even early 90s.” You can head over to the Birds Eye website here for more info.
