Iceland launches ‘Big Mac’ pizza with a burger sauce base

Pizza is great as it is (that’s a given) but if you also like Big Macs, well then, we’ve got some big news for you.

Iceland has created the fast food crossover of the year, combining the elements of a Big Mac on a pizza.

The base is stuffed with burger sauce to create a whole new pizza experience – it’s the first of its kind in the UK.

Iceland’s Cheeseburger Stuffed Base Pizza is topped with beef, gherkins and cheese – just like your favourite Maccies burger.

The range also includes a spicy pepperoni pizza stuffed with spicy red cheddar sauce, chicken and bacon stuffed with BBQ sauce, and a cheese pizza stuffed with red cheddar sauce – that’s a whole lot of sauce.

The pizzas will set you back £2 a pop, and are available in stores across the nation.
