NEW OPENING: Manchester’s first ever £1M shared beauty salon work space

Salon giant Phenix Salon Suites has launched its first ever UK venue in Manchester’s city centre, creating a new haven for all things hair and beauty.

The first of its kind in the UK, Phenix Salon Suites is a flexible place for hair and beauty professionals to master their craft and run their businesses all under one roof at Number One Deansgate.

The brand was originally launched in Colorado Springs in 2007 after founder and entrepreneur Gina Rivera wanted to offer salon professionals an alternative to either renting a chair in an existing salon or dealing with the challenges of owning their own salon.

And fast forwarding to 2021, Phenix has over 300 sites dotted across the US and now, one here in Manchester, which boasts twenty-nine salons, 50% of which have already being leased by business owners.

Current tenants include hair stylists, massage therapists, nail technicians, skincare professionals and makeup artists. 

And as for the building itself? Well, as guests arrive at the new space, they will be taken through a luxury lobby just off Deansgate and, as they climb the stairs, will be ‘transported to a hair and beauty haven’. 

Down the spa-like corridor, you’ll find tenants such as Andrew Trott-Barn with byATB, Joseph Snee from Joseph Patrick Hair, Ashley Longmore at Moloko Hair, pedicurist Yulia Hamilton, hair extension specialist Savana, and many more.

Each tenant will be given access to a break room and kitchen space, as well as an on-site laundry room with FREE use of commercial equipment for fast washing and drying. Hairdressers and barbers will also be provided with a backwash, styling chair and hair trolley, while nail artists or beauty therapists will be offered sink units and storage trolleys.
