A man who won £9.7 million on the lottery in 2002, and then lost it all, said he would start each day with ‘three lines of Charlie and half a bottle of vodka’.

Michael Carroll took home the jackpot in 2002 when he was just 19 years old, in a win that changed his life.

Becoming a newly made millionaire overnight Carroll developed drug and alcohol habits telling the Daily Star the win led to him becoming a ‘full-blown alcoholic’ and revealed that he would begin his day with ‘three lines of Charlie and half a bottle of vodka’.

Carroll would even throw massive sex parties where he would have naked women serving trays of cocaine to him and his guests.

Dubbed the ‘King of Chavs’ he described the parties as being ‘similar to Roman-style orgies’ saying: “In every room in my house people would be f**king. Women would just come up to me and offer me sex.

“The girls would have all their gear off and they’d be serving cocaine on silver plates.”

The lottery winner also bragged that he had slept with over 4,000 women claiming he even had sex with eight women in one night, earning him the nickname of ‘Master Mickey’.

Carroll said he could spend up to £2,000 a day on cocaine and around £50,000 on his parties where he would ‘sniff the world away’.

As well as spending his cash on drugs, booze and women he also made some bad investments, which saw his fortune plummet away.

Carroll put £1 million into his favourite football club Rangers — who entered administration in 2012.

He also splashed out on a £325,000 mansion that ‘lay derelict for about 10 years’, according to the Daily Star.

In 2013 Carroll declared himself bankrupt after losing his fortune and having to return to various manual labour jobs.

Despite losing his huge sum of winnings, he insists he has no regrets about how he spent it, calling it ‘the best 10 years of my life pound for pound’.

“I don’t look back with any regrets, that’s for sure, I wouldn’t want to turn the clock back,” he said.

Carroll believes his losses are for the best as he added: “I live a good, free lifestyle now and I’m happier because I’ve got my life back, I’m a skint lottery winner.

“I reckon I’m lucky to be alive. If I still had the money I’d be 6ft under.”
