Aldi’s very own Kevin the Carrot is making a premature return just in time for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

While the beloved character only makes an appearance around Christmas time, Aldi has decided to bring him out of hibernation and give him a very regal makeover to mark the upcoming Jubilee celebrations.

In aid of the monarch’s seventieth year on the throne, Aldi will be selling royal versions of Kevin and the rest of his carrot clan dressed as none other than the royals themselves.

Yep, Kevin is now the Queen (kind of), thanks to his silver crown, pearls, purple dress and the famous royal handbag.

He can also be bought as a very orange version of the future King Charles, where he dons the traditional royal dress and some very impressive eyebrows.

Also on the royal toy line up this year is Kevin the Carrot and his wife Katie the Carrot dressed in Union Jack-emblazoned outfits, royal guards and even two adorable royal corgi toys.

Sticking to tradition, customers won’t need a royal budget to get theirs hands of the plush toys as Aldi has kept the cost of each individual toy under £4.

And for those struggling to settle on just one of the new carrots from the jubilee range, the supermarket is offering a full bundle option for just £15.95.

Aldi’s Platinum Jubilee range isn’t available to buy just yet, but will be online for pre-orders from May 22nd and in-store from May 26th, just in time for the long bank holiday weekend.
