Drinks company is hiring an Espresso Martini taste tester and they’ll pay you

Fancy getting paid to sup on cocktails all day long?

Well, one company is now on the look out for a professional ‘cocktail taster’ who will get paid to test and rate various Espresso Martini recipes.

Research by alcoholic drinks company The Bottle Club has shown that the humble Espresso Martini is the most popular cocktail in the UK, with the thee coffee and vodka based drink being googled an average 118k times last month alone.

So because of this, the beverages company is now looking for an official Espresso Martini taste tester.

The company will hire one individual to be its official taste tester over a three month period, in which time they will be able to try out £500’s worth of espresso martinis around their city.

The ideal candidate will be able to rate the Martinis according to The Bottle Club’s ultimate cocktail criteria:

• The flavour and strength ratio
• The appearance and garnish
• The value for money
• The quality of ingredients used
• Shaken or stirred

On top of £500 to splash on martinis, the company will throw in a few premixed Espresso Martini cans to get you started on your cocktail tour.

And because booze is always better with a friend, the successful candidate will be able to bring along a guest to their cocktail tastings – after all, with twenty-four cocktails to taste, they might well need a hand getting home.
