Unbeknown to most, Europe’s biggest video game arcade is situated right here in Greater Manchester.
And, luckily for Mancunian gamers, it has just opened its fourth floor.
Arcade Club Bury owns more than over 300 classic and modern arcade games, consoles and pin balls for gamers of all abilities to enjoy.
Games include nostalgia-inducing classics such as Pac Man, Space Invaders, Crazy Taxi, and Donkey Kong, as well as a more modern selection including Fortnite and Rocket League.

Arcade Club has come a long way over the years, with it starting out as a private collection of thirty arcade machines in the back room of a computer shop before moving to a warehouse in Haslingden.
It then moved to its current home in a refurbished old English mill in Bury, where it has gained a handsome reputation among gamers and families across the region.
The Arcade Club also has three licensed bars within the premesies, as well as an on-site cafe serving classic gaming snacks such as hot dogs, burgers and pizza.
Adam Sharples, manager of Arcade Club Bury, told the Manchester Evening News of the club’s expansion: “There’s nothing else like this for families in Greater Manchester.

“With other places you tend to have a bar with an arcade inside it, but we’re an arcade that happens to have a bar.
“We’ve extended our Bury venue by another floor so we now have four in total, meaning more games at the same amazing price.”
Arcade Club Bury is open on Thursdays from 4pm – 11pm, Fridays from 6pm – 12am, Saturdays from 11am – 11pm and Sundays from 11am – 8pm.
