Flock of hungry sheep take over an empty McDonald’s during lockdown

Ewe better believe it!

It turns out we’re not the only ones pining for some McNuggets, the sheep are too!

A flock of sheep descended on a branch of McDonald’s in Ebbw Vale, South Wales last weekend and the beautiful moment was captured by Andrew Thomas.

The animals are really taking back the land as us humans are staying indoors in lockdown!

Thomas posted the picture to social media, the caption read: “Even the sheep in Ebbw Vale are having McDonald’s withdrawals” – and to be honest, I can relate.

McDonald’s has been shut nationwide since March 23rd and none of us have known what to do with ourselves since.

We’ve tried baking banana bread, giving the walls a lick of paint, and even attempted to recreate some McDonalds classics like McNuggets, cheese melt dippers and cheeseburgers ourselves.

And Ebbw Vale isn’t the only place where nature has sprung back into action, in Llandudno the goats were rampaging around, feasting on the bushes in people’s gardens. Deer have even colonised a spot of land in Harold Hill in East London!

The sheep aren’t the only ones who have been queuing for McDonald’s, with fans waiting in queues that were 3 hours long in France when Maccies stores re-opened their drive-thru service.

Fingers crossed it won’t be too much longer until the golden arches shine bright again in the UK.
