A student who has always struggled with her left and right has found a permanent solution.
D’Kodia Laine, 23, has struggled with directions for years and finally got so fed up she got a tattoo to avoid the mix-ups happening again.
The student has had ‘L’ and ‘R’ tattooed on her hands from tattoo artist Lauren Winxer at Hunter & Fox studio.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, she said: “I just got a lot of laughing back and [messages] like ‘oh you were being serious!'”
The communications student has said she has always struggled and even got a lot of ridicule for finding directions difficult to navigate growing up.
She added: “My friends would joke about how silly it looks having an adult make the L shape with your hands to differentiate.”
The tattoo idea started out as a joke with friends at first but ended up becoming a very permanent reality.
Many on social media have claimed they needed the same tat too, one wrote: “I love this! I definitely need to do this myself.”
Would you ever get this?
