Primark at the Trafford Palazzo is opening a Grinch-themed café in time for the festive season.

Located next to the Trafford Centre, the new café will feature a variety of green goodies on its menu, with appropriate Grinch-inspired names to go with.

As if straight from Whoville, menu items will include a Grinchmas Shake made with mint ice cream and decorated in red sugar sprinkles, delicious Cindy Lou Who Waffles topped with vanilla ice cream, meringue and red velvet cake pieces and warming hot drinks including orange and salted caramel hot chocolates.

Following the successful launch of other Grinch-themed Primark cafés, located in Birmingham and Edinburgh, the new Trafford one is expected to be a huge hit with customers.

The green cafés have reportedly already sold thousands of shakes, cakes and waffles in a couple of weeks.

The Grinch-themed café is set to open on Friday, November 17th and follows the launch of Primark’s new Christmas Grinch range – which shoppers are going wild for.

The new range is Primark’s biggest yet and features a wide variety of 69 products including jumpers, t-shirts, slippers, socks, and bathroom toiletries.

There’s even matching pyjamas for the whole family, including the doggo.

The themed cafe will be open until December 29th. And on two dates – November 22nd and 23rd – the Grinch himself will be making a special appearance and spreading some Christmas lacklustre.

Tim Kelly, Primark’s director of new business development, said: “We’ve been very pleased with our customers reaction to the Grinch cafes in Edinburgh and Birmingham, we can’t wait for our Manchester shoppers to try out our exclusive range of Grinchmas shakes and waffles, whilst shopping all things Primark.”
