Happy Mondays star Bez marries fiancée in low-key ceremony
The ceremony was described by friends as ‘the best wedding ever’
Happy Mondays star Bez tied the knot with his fiancée in a low-key ceremony in Hertfordshire over the weekend.
The fifty-eight-year-old married Control the Storm singer and personal trainer Firouzeh Razavi, thirty-five, on Saturday afternoon in front of loved ones.
News of the happy day was shared onto Instagram by the maraca-shaker’s bandmate Rowetta, who posted a series of photos about the day on her Instagram feed.
She first shared a throw-back photo of her and Bez on stage alongside one of her with the couple, writing: “Wedding day has arrived.
“They’d better not start being boring. Love you both and can’t wait to share this beautiful day with you both”.
In a second Instagram post, Rowetta shared a photo of herself with Bez’s mum at the ceremony, writing: “Me & Bez’s gorgeous Mum yesterday at the best wedding ever.
Love you both so much @bezmondays & @firouzehsings”.

Bez and Firouzeh have been together since 2014, and shared the news of their engagement in October 2021, revealing the musician had got down on one knee during a family holiday.
Bez has frequently discussed his love for Firouzeh, with him previously telling the Mirror about Dancing on Ice’s so-called ‘love curse’: “At fifty-seven, I’ve lost the libido where you want to s*** everyone in the room.
“It’s a good thing… Firou’s got me at my best. I couldn’t be bothered with all the drama, I’m definitely getting older.”
He also revealed recently that he had overhauled his 1990s partying and is now into keeping fit so he can ‘keep up with his girlfriend in bed’.
Bez said: “I haven’t exercised for two-and-a-half years. I hope after this my missus fancies me again!
“She’s super-fit so I’ve got to keep up in the bedroom.”
