Controversial media personality, Katie Hopkins, will be live at Karen’s Diner ahead of her ‘Silly Cow tour’.
The diner, known for its rude staff and even ruder customers, will host the controversial media personality who is known for voicing her far-right political viewpoints.
The retro US inspired diner on Bury New Road, in Prestwich, warns customers the evening is not for the ‘faint-hearted or easily offended’.
In a post made on its Instagram page, the diner announced an adults-only comedy night for February 18th in Manchester and the 25th in Birmingham.
And then one person suggested in the comments section on the post: “You should have Katie hopkins come and do a comedy show for you hilarious.”
Well, the diner certainly listened and now it has been confirmed, with Hopkins set to ‘take over’ Karen’s Diner on Wednesday, March 20th from 6.30-9.30pm.
The event page reads: “Ahead of her ‘Silly Cow Tour’, Katie Hopkins takes over Karen’s Diner for an evening of madness with Katie and our Karens. This is a pairing not for the faint-hearted or easily offended.
“Your ticket will include a table for ‘Katie’s Batsh*t Bonkers Britain’ show, some infamous Karen’s entertainment AND we’ll even throw in a burger meal too!”
Announcing the news on its Instagram page, the diner wrote: “Who’s coming for a guest appearance at Karen’s Manchester and Birmingham?! Watch to the end…
“A bit like our Karens, she’s divisive, opinionated, brash and offensive… all of the qualities we admire. COMING SOON!!!”
In mixed reactions to the announcement, people flocked to the comments to have their say.
One Hopkins fan wrote: “ICONIC!! I’d pay to be torn a new one by Katie Hopkins any day of the week! What a legend!!”
And another said : “Fantastic so happy yey.”
Not impressed by the diner’s decision to host Hopkins, one person put: “No!!! You’re really letting the place go downhill.” Someone else wrote: “The bigoted nobody is just desperate for publicity.” And another simply added: “You are scum.”
Hopkins was a contestant on the third series of The Apprentice in 2007. She has gained a reputation for her far-right and outspoken views on a variety of issues including immigration and race.
She has previously been banned on X (formerly called Twitter) after it accused her of hate speech, but is back up and running on the platform since Elon Musk took over.
Tickets to the evening on Wednesday, March 20th cost £37.50 plus a £2.50 booking fee and can only be booked in pairs. Tickets also include a burger meal. To book, click HERE.
