BIG news: Lotus Biscoff fried chicken is now a thing.
Now, this might not be surprising to some, because Biscoff has truly boomed in popularity in recent years – what was once the random little biscuit you’d get free with your coffee is now a cultural phenomenon.
These days, Biscoff is just as famous for its delicious smooth and crunchy spreads as it is for its original biscuits. You can also buy Biscoff sauce, Biscoff ice cream and Biscoff and Go pots. It’s a great time to be alive.

The brand has also partnered with food giants such as KitKat and Krispy Kreme to offer an even wider range of delicious Biscoff products. Like I said, great time to be alive.
But now, just when you thought the obsession with Biscoff couldn’t get any more excessive, Biscoff fried chicken has landed on our timelines.
Yes – chicken fried in Biscoff. Utterly genius, isn’t it?

The Food Lover Blog recently shared their own Biscoff fried chicken recipe with the world and, I have to admit, it looks pretty straight forward.
All you need to do is mix a cup of plain flour with fifteen(ish) crushed Biscoff biscuits, two whisked eggs, cornstarch and a healthy pinch of salt and pepper and smother over six chicken drumsticks.
Then, you fry (deep or shallow) the coated chicken in a pan or vat of vegetable oil and, voila! You have Biscoff fried chicken, almost as if by magic.

Some establishments have also jumped on board the trend – The Food Alchemist in Wolverhampton are currently serving a very enticing-looking double Biscoff Shawarma chicken dish.
Sadly, a Manchester eatery is yet to make their own Biscoff chicken concoction… No pressure, guys.
