The worst car parkers have been revealed and it’s not BMW drivers

While we all like to think we’re brilliant drivers, some of us just aren’t.

Especially when it comes to parking, with a lot of people taking to social media to reveal parking fails they’ve encountered.

And now data analysts at temporary car insurers Veygo have investigated these parking fails, taking to Twitter to review 1,000 recent #parkingfail tweets – recording the make of the vehicle in each post.

According to this study, Ford drivers are most likely to appear online for their bad parking, with Fords featuring in 125 Twitter fail posts.

Toyota drivers came in second, with 101 #Parkingfail posts, while Chevrolet took the third spot, clocking up 92 instances of bad parking.

Honda and Nissan drivers took fourth and fifth place respectively, with 76 and 54 mentions.

Veygo

In what might come as a surprise to some, BMW drivers only managed sixth position – with a mere 45 parking fails.

The rest of the top 10 were made up by Mercedes-Benz (41), Volkswagen (40), Dodge (36) and Hyundai (28), while down in 25th Acura drivers (12) were ranked the best parkers on the list.

Surely Audi drivers should have been higher on there?
