You can now buy half Christmas trees if you hate decorating the full thing

Think of all the extra pigs in blankets you’ll be able to eat with all that time saved…

For many, dragging the Christmas tree out of the loft and decorating it with family and loved ones is the undisputed highlight of the whole festive season.

However, some of us aren’t too fond of the whole decorating process and wind up feeling stressed, flustered and in dire need of a large Christmas tipple.

Well, if you’re one of these people, fear not because there’s a very practical solution out there; the half Christmas tree.

Very

Also known as ‘against the wall Christmas trees‘, these festive additions are literally what they say they are on the tin; half Christmas trees that can be leant up against the wall.

Obviously they wouldn’t work in front of a large bay window, but those who resent decorating the back of the tree can simply decorate a half tree and push it against the wall. Simple!

Half Christmas trees – which are also a great option for those with smaller spaces to dedicate to decorations – are available to buy from a number of different retailers such as Very and Wilko, and for a range of budgets, so you shouldn’t have to search too hard for your own this festive season.

Argos

And Argos has taken the term ‘half tree’ to a whole new level with their own Christmas tree that’s been chopped in half horizontally rather than vertically.

Designed with ‘curious cats and toddlers’ in mind, this tree probably holds the same amount of decoration space and time but is ideal for those not wanting anything – or anyone – to crawl up into it (it also leaves a ton of room for presents).

The description reads: “With the first branches at 93cm, it’s a great way to keep your perfectly placed baubles and twinkly tinsel out of reach. This means that the half tree only needs half the decorating! It also means you can pile more presents underneath it!”
