You can now get PAID to watch Love Island from your own bed
Who said the dream job doesn’t exist?
This year’s Love Island has officially kicked off and, to celebrate the impending drama, some lucky fans will be able to get paid to binge the series from the comfort of their own bed.
Luxury bed linen retailer Secret Linen Store has unveiled the dream role of ‘Relaxation Researcher’, which will involve the testing of popular relaxation methods to discover which are the best for a great night’s kip.
The job role will involve doing certain tasks that many people do before bed, including watching Love Island, completing a skincare routine, and listening to true crime podcasts.
Sounds more than doable, doesn’t it?
The full list of responsibilities are:
- Watch the latest episode of Love Island.
- Complete a minimum of three step skincare routine and take a calming bath or shower.
- Listen to three different podcasts, including true crime, comedy, and news.
- Cosy up with a book and a cup of tea.
- Use Spotify or YouTube to complete a meditation exercise or yoga class.
The successful candidate will be required to submit a full review of each of the night-time routine, giving details on how relaxed they felt after each, and how well they slept that night.
The role will be completed over the course of one month, and the successful applicant will receive a £300 salary for their efforts – as well as Secret Linen Store nightwear and a bedding set for good measure.
Molly Freshwater, co-founder of Secret Linen Store, said: “We’d love to give to give someone the opportunity to dedicate time in the evenings to relax, and to take on the important task of finding out the ultimate calming pre-bed routine.”
To apply, wannabe Relaxation Reviewers must be over the age of eighteen and have access to Love Island, YouTube or Spotify, as well as have the time to complete the five relaxation tasks within a month.
Applications are now open and will close on July 3rd, 2022 – all you need to do is fill in the application and tell Secret Linen Store why you deserve to be paid to laze.
