The BBC has confirmed its TV schedule will be changing this week after a string of programmes were cancelled in the wake of Queen Elizabeth’s death.

Since the announcement of the monarch’s passing on Thursday September 8th, the BBC and a number of other broadcasters have been airing special schedules dedicated to Her Majesty, with other shows and programmes being cancelled or postponed.

In a statement at the time, BBC said: “Following the death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II there will be special programming to mark her life across the BBC and schedules will be subject to change.”

But now, the BBC has confirmed that many of its postponed shows will be making it to the air in their new schedule for the coming week.
