Hunted is coming back to our screens, and it is on the lookout for new contestants from Greater Manchester and beyond.
Do you think you have what it takes to run away from the government?
Channel 4’s popular reality series, Hunted, is currently looking for ‘fugitives’ across Greater Manchester and the North West to take part in its seventh season.
The premise is simple – contestants have twenty-eight day to evade capture by the notorious ‘hunters,’ who are out on the ground awaiting instruction from a group of the country’s best former military figures, police officers, detectives and intelligence operatives.
Channel 4
The Hunters use state of the art detection services employed by the likes of the MI5 to track down their fugitives – this could be anything from watching their bank transactions, tracking their phones and even interrogating their family members.
Contestants can choose to take part alone, or they can evade capture with a family member or a friend.
For the contestants who do manage to avoid being captured and make it to the final extraction point, a handsome £100,000 cash prize awaits.
Does evading the government and winning money for it sound like your cup of tea? Well, applications for the new series are now open, with filming set to start in June.
Channel 4
If you think you stand a chance at evading the Hunters, you need to shoot and upload a short video – a maximum of three minutes long – introducing yourself and explaining why you’d like to go on the run.
If you are applying to go on the run with a friend or family member, it’s fine to just submit one application for one member of the group.
However, all members of the group should ideally be in the video you submit, and you must have their permission to apply on their behalf and disclose their personal details.
The deadline is February 28th, 2022, and you must be aged eighteen or older in order to apply to take part in the series.
If you would like to take part, fill out an online application here.
