Fans of Gordon, Gino and Fred’s Road Trip are in for a treat this festive period, as the lads are returning to our screens for a Christmas special. The hilarious show stars Gordon Ramsey, Gino D’Acampo and Fred Sirieix, and the festive special is set to hit our screens just a few days before Christmas. It’ll see the three stars in Morocco – apparently Gino wanted to get them all the way to Jerusalem but they couldn’t get cheap flights sorted – for an hour long episode, which airs on December 23rd.
Instead of Jerusalem they’ll be dropped off 6,000 miles away in Marrakesh, where they’ll make a long trek through the desert, experiencing the local food and culture along the way.
According to the show’s official description: “They find themselves on the back of three camels in the middle of the Agafay desert but Three Wise Men they are not.
“They’re searching out the hospitality of a local Arabic desert dwelling family who will show them the delights of eating their mutton nose to tail. Literally. But not before they are expected to put up their own tent for the night and get stuck in.”
