I’m A Celeb is back for its 20th series this year, and here’s who could be braving the trials this time around.

ITV has confirmed the hit show will be back again, but this year is set to be a lot different from the last, as it moves to the UK for the first time.

The 2020 series will be coming from an abandoned castle in the British countryside, meaning this year’s winner will be crowned the ‘Queen or King of the castle’ – it might not have quite the same ring to it, but it looks like we can still expect all the usual drama from the show.

Director of Entertainment at ITV Studios, Richard Cowles, said they really tried to get the series filmed in Australia despite the pandemic, however it hasn’t been possible this year.

He added: “While it will certainly be different producing the show from the UK, the same tone and feel will remain.

“Our celebrities will probably have to swap shorts for thermals but they can still look forward to a basic diet of rice and beans and plenty of thrills and surprises along the way”.

Kevin Lygo, ITV’s Director of Television, added: “We announced last week that we were doing all we could to make the series and I’m thrilled that we can bring the show to viewers albeit not in the jungle. We have a great team both on and off screen and I know they will produce a hugely entertaining series”.

So who will be joining Ant and Dec for this season, and taking part in all the fun of the trials and newly created countryside life?

Well, Strictly Come Dancing star AJ Pritchard could be set to enter the castle this year at 4/6 odds, according to Ladbrokes.

Tiger King star, ‘that b*tch’ Carole Baskin, is also reportedly another potential contestant, after being offered ‘big money’. She might just be the best character to ever go in!

Drag Race star Michelle Visage could also potentially be heading in, after winning the hearts of the nation on Strictly Come Dancing last year.

After leaving Radio 1 and hosting Save Our Summer with Peter Crouch, Maya Jama is also rumoured to be heading to the countryside.

There’s even rumours Katie Price is making another return to the series. Let’s hope both of her feet are fixed by then!

Next up is Price Tag singer Jessie J, who famously entered a Chinese singing competition, after a brief stint as a judge on The Voice.

This year’s sports star could include former Arsenal player Paul Merson, as well as ex-professional boxer and local lad, Ricky Hatton.

Or the latest rumour, which sees Love Islander Tommy Fury with odds at 2/5 to join the show, according to Betway bookmakers.

Dan Osborne, the husband of the reigning champ Jacqueline Jossa, could also be set to head to the castle, according to reports.

Former Top Gear star Jeremy Clarkson is also rumoured to be heading to the new series – and braving being voted for probably every challenge.

And finally, the British blogger known for ‘Ladbaby’, aka Mark Ian Hoyle, is Ladbrokes favourite to be making an appearance this year.

So what do you think of the lineup and new location? Personally I’m excited to see how Katie Price and Clarkson get along on with empty stomachs and the freezing British weather!
