A Disney and West End musical sing-along festival is happening just an hour from Manchester

A huge pop-up festival with West End stars is heading to North Staffordshire next weekend, for the ultimate Disney night.

The open-air pop-up picnic festival is the ultimate family day out, filled with hit Disney songs as well as classics from musicals such as Les Miserable, Moulin Rouge and Cats.

Songs Under the Stars is taking place next weekend (August 21st-23rd) at Betley Court Farm in Betley.

On the line up is the likes of Gemma Sutton, Joel Montague, Bree Smith and Joel Harper-Jackson, who are all used to performing on London’s West End.

Tickets will set you back £60 for a pitch for four people. All visitors can bring their own picnics to help adhere to social distancing rules.

Organisers of the event said: “Join us for a spectacular evening of musical celebration and let our West End Stars sweep you away from the troubling times of 2020 into a magical world of live music.

“Singing your favourite show tunes from the biggest musicals of all time. Grab a blanket, bring the popcorn and let us take you back in time on a musical adventure for all the family.

“Set on the beautiful grounds of Betley Court Farm this concert will be performed by West End musical theatre performers who have all originated from the surrounding areas of Crewe.

“Having had to leave their jobs in the theatres of London the cast are hugely excited to be able to sing again.

“Musical director Edward Court has created an evening of songs that will make your heart jump with joy.

“There will be songs from all of our favourite musicals, new and old, and a handful of Disney. The evening is perfect for the whole family.
