A brand new speakeasy bar with rooftop cinema is opening on Oldham Street in the Northern Quarter.

The two-floor concept will take over the old Eat New York site, and you’ll have to access Lost Cat through the florist The Bud & Pot.

Through the florist will be an unpretentious neighbourhood hang out that promises chilled daytimes and a huge party when the lights go down.

The man behind the concept, Lyndon Higginson said: “If you thought that Tiki bars had crazy garnishes, wait until you see the Lost Cat!”

Guests can expect ‘serious beers and silly cocktails’ plus a rooftop terrace opening later this year.

Food will be provided by Triple B – serving up stacked bagels stuffed with meat and cheese, classic New York style.

On the second floor is Lost Cat Life, home to live music most nights, and finally Clint’s Flicks on the rooftop with a ‘secret’ open air cinema screenings weekly.

The bar is set to open in May lockdown dependent. Who’s excited?
