A pop-up golden retriever cafe is coming to Manchester next month 

A pop-up cafe filled with hundreds of golden retrievers is coming to Manchester next month.

Hundreds of the furry friends and their ‘hoomans’ will be unleashed on a popular Manchester bar on Saturday, May 13th for one day only.

Following the successful event in London, POP+BARK, by creators Anushka and James from BBC’s Dragons’ Den, will be bringing the paw-tay to Media City’s doggy friendly bar and restaurant, The Botanist.

The event is set to be an experience for all where gorgeous goldies can roam freely, explore and make some new four-legged friends.

The pooches can even hit up the pupuccino bar where they can enjoy a number of toppings including fresh blueberries, cream, peanut butter sprinkles and gravy bones.

Rudi’s the Doggy Barkery will also be serving mouthwatering pupcakes and other doggy treats for them to wrap their chops around.

The goldies will get to enjoy 80 minutes off-lead time in a pet-safe environment with staff on site to watch over your adorable fur babies.

It will be the ultimate welcoming feel good day for all dog owners with or without their four-legged bestie.

With heaps of cute photo opportunities, doggy furniture and props, they’ll love posing up a storm — in exchange for a treat, of course. You can even treat your Golden Retriever to something new at the pop-up stalls.

From pretty rope leads, sassy bandanas and smart bows, The Crafty Dog Co will have you covered. The Botanist will also be serving up the best of their menu so you can also treat yourself during the doggy playdate.

Golden retriever paw-rents can mingle with like-minded owners who share the same love for this amazing breed, and get to discover a wonderful, welcoming community.
