Mancunians will be able to reprise the good old days with a club night dedicated to the the legendary Jilly’s Rockworld.
For over twenty years, the Oxford Road institution gained a fierce reputation for its sweaty oasis welcoming goths, rockers, skaters and punks for weekly nights of chaos and mascara-wearing, fishnet-ridden mayhem.
One of the most renowned nights at Jilly’s was the infamous All Nighter, taking place every Friday until the unthinkable hour of 7am. It was this event that spurred the club to famously start selling Pot Noodles for revellers to snack on into the small hours.

Sadly, Jilly’s wasn’t to be and it closed permanently in 2010, with owner John Bagnall blaming the indoor smoking ban and competition from new music venues.
But now, over a decade on from its closure, clubbers will soon be able to relive the Jilly’s glory days with a dedicated club night right here in Manchester.
The O2 Ritz, also found down Oxford Road, will be throwing a huge party complete with all the rock ‘n’ roll favourites that made Jilly’s so iconic and beloved across the city.
A Tribute to Jilly’s Rockworldwill be taking place at the concert hall on April 9th and, as per tradition, will run well into the early hours, though there is yet to be any word on the presence of Pot Noodles.
